Artificial intelligence has changed nearly every part of marketing — and video production is no exception. But while AI tools can make production faster and more efficient, they can’t replace the human creativity and emotional connection that make video effective.
As Jordy Starling from _Neural Impact_ explains, AI is best used to _enhance_ your video process, not automate it completely. Tools can now improve audio, adjust lighting, and even generate titles or descriptions. But when AI takes over too much of the process, you risk losing what makes great videos stand out — authenticity.
There are even AI systems that claim to create entire videos from start to finish, but most of what they produce lacks personality, emotion, and credibility. Jordy calls this “AI slop” — technically correct but emotionally empty.
The key takeaway for MSPs:
Use AI to save time, not to skip the human element. Let it help with editing, polish, and optimization while you stay focused on storytelling and connection.
Keep in mind that adding AI steps can sometimes increase production time and costs. Each tool adds a layer of complexity, so balance efficiency with value.
AI is an incredible ally when used intentionally. But the best videos still come from real people telling real stories.
Are you using AI to make your message more powerful — or just to make it faster?
